March 2013 Newsletter

Dear Member

Signs of Spring this week with blue skies and crocus’s growing with bold, strong colours lifts the spirit and spurs us all on to the forthcoming season. Having worked on either a new stand, new products or packaging or maybe all three these last few months the anticipation of showing them to customers for the first time grows at this time of year. Many of our members start at Crufts this week and we wish them a super show and hope all their new equipment and products work well and reward all the effort.

Badminton Horse Trials is on course for a superb event with many Olympic riders from all nations competing – a revival of the Olympic pride from last summer will create a wonderful atmosphere and will have enhanced the interest in the sport. William Fox-Pitt is attempting to become only the second person to win the Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing so everyone from every level of the sport is keen to visit this year.

A note for your diary – from 2014 Badminton will be four days, Thursday to Sunday 8 – 11 May, it will not clash with Windsor.

Chatsworth Horse Trials have a new sponsor, Dodson & Horrell, Europe’s leading horse feed specialist and have increased their rider entries so all looking very positive for excellent attendances and potential spending.

We are still receiving excellent bookings for this year and some categories of work are full at some events. We attach a list of space availability but this space cannot be allocated to all types of craft as we are keeping a close eye on variety of work in each pavilion.

Due to the rising costs of postage we will email confirmations to you unless there is another insertion that requires an envelope or if we know you prefer hard copies.

We wish you successful events this month and look forward to seeing many of you at Badminton.
